guilty pleasures

We all have our guilty pleasures.  Mine might be Cold Stone's 'peanut butter cup perfection', Hallmark movies, and Zac Efron.  Although I kind of feel like a pedophile for that last one.  Well here is another guilty pleasure...Mandy Moore.  I've been slightly ashamed of this one because well...let's just take a rundown on her filmography: "How to Deal", "Chasing Liberty", "Princess Diaries"...you get the gist.  But she is just so stinkin' adorable.  You want to be like her bad acting and all.  She seems so nice and normal.  Mandy was the reason I dyed my hair brown. I wanted to "Mandy Moore it up".  But of this I am not ashamed.  Her new album Amanda Leigh is amazing.  I have listened to it over and over again at work for the past two days.

Isn't she gorgeous?
I think we all know I love my jazz music, but this album is just so fun.  She's wicked humble too realizing she hasn't been setting the world on fire with her previous breathy singing and has made an effort with this one and worked with some great people.  So Mandy, A+ my friend, you are coming into your own...and I will secretly adore you for life.

Thanks for the album recommendation, Shelby. I've never been a Mandy Moore fan (I had no idea she was the reason that you dyed your hair brown!), but I'll have to check this out. I totally trust your judgment and taste in music.

I think she's great too. Seems down to earth and nice.
